If you need a little extra help navigating life’s shifting sands, I’m here to support you

Hello and welcome to my website. My name is Mike, and I am a person centred counsellor based near Falmouth in Cornwall.

I can help with many issues, including anxiety, depression, addiction and compulsion, discussing relationships, dealing with trauma, grief and loss, anger issues, low self-esteem, or coping with challenging circumstances and events.

If you need a confidential, nurturing and supportive space in your life, it would be my privilege to join you in your search for greater understanding and acceptance of your own self, and to help you to work through, and even let go of, blocks to your own contentment.

It’s possible that you are visiting my website out of curiosity, or it may be that you feel ready to find someone who can help you. I know that life can be a struggle at times, and sometimes the usual avenues of support aren’t available, or aren’t enough. Whether you simply need a confidential space to help work through a difficult time, or a long term, supportive, therapeutic relationship, I am here to meet your needs, and help you.

I believe that a counselling relationship should be accessible to everyone, rather than a luxury. To meet this, I offer therapeutic sessions in a variety of formats – from a face to face session in my comfortable and confidential therapy space in Falmouth, to walking therapy in a mutually agreed location, and even remote sessions via video or phone call. To find out more about these options, and which feels right for you, visit my counselling services page.

Even in these current times, as the conversation around mental health is becoming more open and relevant, many people still have difficulty acknowledging that they sometimes need some support. I’ve been there, and I know what it feels like. I offer a no pressure, no obligation introductory session free of charge, so we have a chance to meet, and you can get more of a sense of whether we could work together. To get in touch, click here.
